6 on Us Scholarship Application

Welcome to the application for our new “6 on Us” scholarship program!

The “6 on Us’’ is a grant-supported scholarship program that allows new students (or returning students that have stepped away from college at least 3 years) to take up to 6 credits for FREE. Typically, 6 college credits at North Country cost students $1,250 to $1,500 so we’ve removed this barrier so you can try out a few classes on the house.

This particular scholarship program is geared towards our non-traditional age student population. To qualify, you must:

Be a new student to college or returning to college after having stepped away for at least 3 years.
Be at least 22 years of age by the first day of Fall semester classes (August 28th).
Submit your FAFSA and New York State TAP applications in order for us to determine your financial need.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis until the funding runs out. So, complete your application and submit it TODAY to see if you qualify!
