To be considered eligible for summer financial aid, you must be matriculated (accepted for admission, registered in a program of study and pursuing courses towards a degree or certificate) at NCCC.

In order to receive financial aid for any summer courses, all courses need to be counted towards your current degree program. If they do not fit your degree program, you are not eligible for financial aid. Enrolling in summer courses could impact your full time status for the Fall 2026. You will not be able to add additional courses that do not fit within your degree in order to be full time.

I am interested in a Federal Stafford Loan for the summer. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in their degree program. Summer loans are considered to be part of your annual loan limit. Borrowing during the summer could limit the amount available to you during the academic year.

I am interested in a Federal Pell Grant for the summer. Students must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours in their degree program.

If eligible, I am interested in the NYS Tap Award. Financial aid will evaluate your academics and financial eligibility. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits and earned 24 credits during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

You will be notified what financial aid you are eligible for when this form is complete and the FAFSA information is received.
